Kapeddo, 100 km north of Lake Baringo in Turkanaland. Rainfall 490mm, c. 800m altitude, semi-arid, saline hot water springs and water falls, conflicts between ethnic groups, location of a former Finnish mission, population about 2000.

KEDA was established by the educated younger generation to help in development. They have so far introduced new ideas like solar cookers, assisted in paying school fees for the poorest and fed the elderly and hungry. December 27 2005.
