Environmental activities

Many little but significant activities have taken place at the beginning of 2020 in the field of environmental conservation and environmental education that I haven’t written about before. Samuel and Oscar from the indigenous trees nursery led a tree nursery training for 5th and 6th graders at Nanga on the 23rd of January. During the

A week ago on Saturday builders completed a stove for Mlembea primary school in Rombo. This is a fourth stove in a row on the same trip for the fundis, Ndanu, Iddy, Antipasi and Tumaini. We have allowed our stove building work to extend on the slopes of the mountain as wasting firewood is not acceptable anywhere. And getting a smoke free kitchen is of course as important there as anywhere else. (Water

Since 2009 they have been building water tanks and stoves wherever Liana needs them. But the best part of it is that they continue
